monty1957 It is infectious and you just want to participate. Although not in the tradition, wonder to accompany with bodhran using several techniques.

jasrwhitejr I love this album because Noah presents so many tune styles, and different banjo sounds played with virtuosity and such good taste. Lots to learn from here! Favorite track: Bully for You.

about

This CD is a culmination of my now ten years of playing Old-Time banjo. It is comprised of a compilation of tunes, ranging from Old-Time standards to a few Irish tunes, and a couple original compositions played on banjo and dulcimer that I recorded over the course of about two years, picking out 15 of my favorites for the final cut. All of the banjos except for one and the dulcimer featured on this CD were built by me. These include a mountain-style banjo, gourd banjo, open back banjo, and teardrop dulcimer.

about

Noah Cline Burlington, West Virginia

I’ve been playing banjo since 2008 when I was eleven, originally being taught Scruggs-style, then about a year later I started teaching myself clawhammer after my former teacher had introduced me to various Old Time artists and CDs, and I have been playing it ever since. I have been building mountain-style banjos, gourd banjos, and mountain dulcimers since 2013. ... more
